Aureo® S 700 G

Medicated Feed Additive

Each kg contains:

Chlortetracycline 77 g/kg

Sulphamethazine 77 g/kg

AUREO^® S 700 G is recommended for oral administration via the feed as a therapeutic aid in the control of disease in beef cattle and pigs caused by organisms susceptible to chlortetracycline and sulphamethazine.

Withdraw treatment with AUREO^® S 700 G medicated feed at least 7 days prior to slaughter.

Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.

Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

Use only as directed.

The oral administration of AUREO^® S 700 G is achieved by its thorough mixture in beef cattle and pig feeds.

Cattle: Mix sufficient AUREO^® S 700 G in the feed to supply 350 mg of chlortetracycline and 350 mg of sulphamethazine per head per day. Treatment should be continued for 5-7 days.

Pigs: For average dosage mix 2 kg AUREO^® S 700 G per 1 000 kg of complete feed to supply 154 ppm each of chlortetracycline and sulphamethazine. The inclusion level may be varied according to the severity and nature of the infection, the total daily dose varying with the mass or age of the animals being treated and the amount of feed consumed. Treatment should be continued for 5-7 days or until signs of disease are no longer present.

Mixing: To help obtain uniform dispersion, first thoroughly mix the desired quantity of AUREO® S 700 G with 10 times its mass of feed or feed ingredient before blending into final feed. Close the container securely after use.

AUREO^® S 700 G and feedstuffs containing AUREO^® S 700 G feed additive should be stored in a cool dry place below 25 °C.
