    • RespiSure is for the vaccination of healthy swine as an aid in preventing chronic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
    • Use only as directed.
    • General Directions: For best results, vaccination of all swine in a herd is recommended. Shake well. Aseptically administer two, 2 ml doses intramuscularly at least 2 weeks apart.
    • Primary vaccination: Administer a single 2 ml dose to pigs approximately 1 week of age with a booster dose 2 3 weeks later. Pregnant swine may be safely vaccinated at 6 weeks and 2 weeks prior to farrowing.
    • Revaccination: Dams should be revaccinated 2 weeks before farrowing. Boars should be revaccinated semi annually.
    • Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.
    • Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
    • If anaphylaxis or hypersensitivity occurs following use, administer adrenaline or equivalent. Without such treatment, serious reactions may result in death.
    • This vaccine has been shown to be efficacious but some pigs may be unable to develop or maintain an adequate immune response following vaccination if they are, for example, incubating any infectious disease, are malnourished or parasitized, or are stressed due to transport or adverse environmental conditions, or in any way immunocompromised.
    • Although this product has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, notify the registration holder.
    • Use entire contents when first opened.
    • Sterilized syringes and needles should be used to administer this vaccine. Do not sterilize with chemicals because traces of disinfectant may inactivate the vaccine.
    • Store between 2 °C and 7 °C. Do not freeze. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
