General Directions: For best results, vaccination of all swine in a herd is recommended. Shake well. Aseptically administer two, 2 ml doses intramuscularly at least 2 weeks apart.
Primary vaccination: Administer a single 2 ml dose to pigs approximately 1 week of age with a booster dose 2 3 weeks later. Pregnant swine may be safely vaccinated at 6 weeks and 2 weeks prior to farrowing.
Revaccination: Dams should be revaccinated 2 weeks before farrowing. Boars should be revaccinated semi annually.
Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
If anaphylaxis or hypersensitivity occurs following use, administer adrenaline or equivalent. Without such treatment, serious reactions may result in death.
This vaccine has been shown to be efficacious but some pigs may be unable to develop or maintain an adequate immune response following vaccination if they are, for example, incubating any infectious disease, are malnourished or parasitized, or are stressed due to transport or adverse environmental conditions, or in any way immunocompromised.
