  • Live complexed vaccine; lyophilised live virus, V877 strain with low attenuation(strong strain), produced in Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) chicken embryos, complexed with infectious bursal disease (IBD) antibodies. 

  • Each dose contains: IBD virus, V877 complexed with antibodies against Infectious Bursal Disease. (GMT SN ≥ 1:32). Contains gentamicin as preservative.

  • Immunisation of healthy chickens for the prevention of infectious bursal disease. It is recommended for subcutaneous injection for chickens of one (1) day-old or in ovo vaccination of embryos between 18 and 19 days of incubation. It is essential that the chickens are kept in good environmental conditions and exposure to disease is reduced wherever possible. 

  • Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.

    Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Administer full dose per egg or chicken. Do not give partial doses.

    Use the entire contents once the vial is opened. Vaccinate all chickensof the same lot at the same time.

    Vaccinate only healthy embryos and chickens, do not vaccinate parasitised chickens or chickens with concurrent diseases.

    Incinerate the vials and all unused contents.

    It is recommended to use Pro-Cell diluent.

    Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder. 

  • In ovo administration: Administer a 0,05 ml dose per embryonated egg of 18 to 19 days incubation. Subcutaneous administration in chickens of one (1) day of age: Administer a 0,2 ml dose per chicken of one (1) day old, subcutaneously. 

  • Use only as directed.

    Rehydrate only the vaccine vials to be used.

    Dilute the vaccine in appropriate diluent volume, according to the vaccine presentation and administration route (subcutaneous or in ovo).

    For subcutanous injection in chickens of one (1) day of age: For each 2000 doses of Poulvac Magniplex, use 400 ml Pro-Cell diluent.

    For in ovo vaccination of embryos between 18 and 19 days of incubation: For each 2000 doses of Poulvac Magniplex, use 100 ml Pro-Cell diluent.

    Transfer sufficient quantity of diluent to the vial containing lyophilised vaccine and vigorously shake it until all the vaccine is suspended.

    Transfer the vaccine suspension to the diluent container and shake again.

    Rinse the vial with the vaccine suspension and make sure all of the vaccine was removed.

    Use the vaccine immediately after reconstitution. 

  • Store the product under refrigeration between 2˚C and 8˚C. Use the vaccine immediately after reconstitution. 

  • Poulvac Magniplex vaccine is presented in lyophilised form, in the following pack size configurations: 10 x 2000 dose per glass vial in a plastic tray or 10 x 8000 dose per glass vial in a plastic tray.
