    Mating:

    Goats:
During the breeding season CIDR® G devices are inserted for 18 days. The majority of does are in oestrus approximately 48 hours after device removal. A vasectomised buck should run with synchronised does.

    Sheep:
During the breeding season CIDR® G devices are inserted for 10 – 12 days. Ewes are in oestrus for mating or insemination approximately 54 hours after device removal. For early autumn lambing it is recommended that the device be used in conjunction with PMS. A ram to ewe ratio of at least 1:10 is recommended for synchronised mating.

  • Store in a cool place below 25 °C.
